Introduction
I am a neuro-immunologist with a particular interest in elucidating the role of gut microbiota in autoimmune inflammatory demyelinating disease of central nervous system.
Current projects include:
The role of obesity and gut microbiota in severity of autoimmune demyelinating disease (multiple sclerosis-MS)
Mechanism by which interleukin 17 regulates demyelinating disease
Determine the immunomodulatory and disease suppressive role of gut microbiota that can possibly provide a new strategy for treatment of autoimmune inflammatory demyelinating disease
