Congratulations to Maddisen Dwelley, BS and Paul Ntasin, BS on their selection as Emory Warner Experimental Research Fellows for the current academic year. These fellowships promote interest in research within experimental pathology are focused on furthering the research of Master of Science in Pathology or Experimental Pathology PhD trainees in collaboration with Department of Pathology faculty members and provides support to enhance their research training.

Paul Ntasin is an Experimental Pathology PhD candidate in Nitin Karandikar, MD, PhD's lab investigating the role of endogenous TGFb1 in Th17 CD4 T cell differentiation and resistance to suppression.

Maddisen Dwelley is a graduate student in the Master of Science in Pathology program conducting research in Kevin Legge, PhD’s lab. Her research characterizes changes in dendritic cell populations and immunity following respiratory virus infections.

The Emory Warner Experimental Research Fellowship was established in honor of Dr. Emory Warner, former Head of Pathology, and his long-standing commitment to providing stimulating research experiences for students.
