Aaron Amundson, DO

Aaron Amundson, DO has joined the team as Clinical Assistant Professor. Dr. Amundson received his DO from Des Moines University. He completed his Anatomic and Clinical Pathology residency at Sanford School of Medicine, followed by a fellowship in Forensic Pathology at the Medical College of Wisconsin and a Cardiovascular Pathology fellowship at Mayo's School of Graduate Medical Education.
 

Allen Choi, MD

Allen Choi, MD has joined UI Pathology as Clinical Assistant Professor. Dr. Choi received his MD from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, followed by his Anatomic and Clinical Pathology residency at University of Iowa Health Care. This was followed by two fellowships in Cytopathology and Surgical Pathology with an emphasis in Head & Neck at University of Iowa Health Care.
 
 

Kimberly Fiock, PhD, QBRS

Kimberly Fiock, PhD, QBRS has joined the team as Research Assistant Professor. Dr. Fiock received both her MS in Pathology and PhD in Experimental Pathology at the University of Iowa. Dr. Fiock also serves as the Director of the Iowa Neuropathology Resource Laboratory, Technical Director of the Histology Research Laboratory, and Associate Director of Iowa NIH NeuroBioBank Site. 

 

Muhammad Shaheen, MBBCH

Muhammad Shaheen, MBBCH has joined the team as Clinical Assistant Professor. Dr. Shaheen received his MBBCH from Alexandria Unviersity before completing his Anatomic Pathology residency at American University of Beirut and an Anatomic and Clinical Pathology residency at Indiana University. A fellowship in Pediatric Pathology was then completed at Cincinnati Children's Hospital.
