Congratulations to Zeb Zacharias, who is a recipient of both a 2016 American Association of Immunologists (AAI) Trainee Abstract Award as well as Levitt Center Travel Award. Zeb, a 2015-2016 AAI Careers in Immunology Fellowship holder, is conducting research in the laboratory of Dr. Kevin L. Legge focused on understanding the cells and factors regulating the magnitude of the T cell response during lethal influenza virus infections. These awards will assist Zeb in attending and presenting his research as part of the “B cell and CD4 T cell responses during Viral Infections Block Symposia” at the AAI annual meeting this May in Seattle, Washington.
