Congratulations to Banafshe Dolatyar, PhD, a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Marco Hefti, MD’s research laboratory, for receiving the Trainee Professional Development Award from the Society for Neuroscience.

The Trainee Professional Development Award is awarded to undergraduate and graduate students and post baccalaureate and postdoctoral scholars who demonstrate scientific merit and excellence in research.

Recipients receive a travel stipend for costs to attend Neuroscience 2025. In-person recipients are required to present their abstract during a poster session at the event and attend two professional development workshops. Recipients also receive access to professional development opportunities on Neuronline in the year following the award.
