I’m proud to call Iowa City my hometown. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Biology with a focus on Pre-Medicine from the University of Iowa. As an undergraduate, I worked in Dr. Ali Jabbari’s lab studying the collapse of immune privilege in hair follicles to better understand the autoimmune disease Alopecia areata. Now, I’m excited to begin my first year as an MS student in Pathology and to continue my science journey. Outside of the lab, I love crafting, playing piano, and indulging my sweet tooth as a candy enthusiast.
