Jane Persons (Pathology Extern 2018-2019) was one of twelve students awarded the 2019 CAP Foundation Medical Student Travel Award to travel to the recent 2019 CAP Residents Forum/Annual Meeting in Orlando, Florida. 

The CAP Foundation presents this award to support medical students who have a strong interest in pathology as a career.  In addition to receiving financial support for travel expenses, awardees are assigned a Resident Forum Delegate who will share insight about the specialty of pathology and preparing for a career in pathology.
